Global Warming
Thousands of earth scientists have concluded with over 90 percent certainty that climate change is happening now, that it is human caused, and that if we don’t act NOW, as in the next two years, we could begin seeing mass human extinctions within the next 20 years.

Deforestation

Global Hunger
While the majority of the press blamed the food shortages on biofuel crop production, the real culprit was livestock. If all the cereal grains and soy currently fed to livestock were fed directly to humans, each of the people currently starving would have over 1 ton of food per year.
